Sol Avi Erez is a Tel Aviv-based artist and educator whose work explores the intersection of architectural precision and surreal abstraction. After completing an MFA in Photography at Cranbrook Academy of Art, he spent a decade in New York before returning to Israel to develop a research-based practice rooted in intimate material experiments with objects, forms, and images.

Since 2011, his work has questioned how images occupy space — how color, light, and form construct and distort meaning. He moves freely between the real and the fabricated, refusing fixed boundaries between disciplines, photographic and constructed truth.
